We are importing into Jira via a csv file and he create date for all imported issue is marked the import date instead of the original submit date

We check our csv file for the submit date values and they are correct, we checked our mapping and we correctly specify Submit Date from old system is mapped to the Date Created. After the import dates are incorrectly marked as the current date. Any help on thsiis will be greatly appreciated

You may have configured mismatching date format for your CSV import (different format than is actually used in CSV file). Could you please take a look at https://studio.atlassian.com/browse/JIM-397. If it does not help feel free to raise support request at https://support.atlassian.com
