User picker field is broken

My custom user picker field has started rejecting some users, including me as the site and org admin, as invalid after yesterday's automation issue. I'm wondering if that caused it or am I missing something else.

Hello, Good day. I am unable to reproduce this issue on my test instance. Are you still facing this issue ?. Also you are able to select non-admin user in user picker field ?
