Tracking the Sprint History of a Story and its Sub-tasks

How can I know when an issue was moved from a sprint to the backlog? Is there any history log showing the movement of issues across sprints/backlogs? Context: My boss accidentally moved some items from the current sprint to the backlog. We're trying to find and place those issues back in the existing sprint. 

I tried checking the history under issue activity, but that doesn't show if someone moved an issue to backlog. It only mentions if the issue has been assigned to a sprint.

Try this: On your Agile Board, go to the Reports section on the left side, then click on Sprint Report. Select your sprint in question, and at the bottom of the page, there is an "Issues Removed from Sprint" section. Hope you find it helpful!
