The 'Fix Version' field cannot be added

There are issue types where you can insert the 'Fix Version' field, and others where you cannot. Even if you insert the field into the types where it is allowed and enter the 'Fix Version' value in the backlog menu, it does not appear.

Screen configuration:

On create ,edit , view screens  fix versions field is not added .

Solution:

  1. Jira Administration > Issues > Screens.
  2. Associate it to the respective screen with the issue types
  3. Add the 'Fix Version' field to these screens.

or

 

  • The user might not have the appropriate permissions to edit or view the 'Fix Version' field.
