Hi everyone,
we are using Tempo on Jira Cloud.
In Tempo Planner, we plan the work bi-weekly, but also every 3 months on a higher level.
Now here comes my problem (I wanted to add Screenshots, but atlassian doesnt seem to let me do that):
Given my user has a workload of 8 hrs/ day.
I am looking at the next two weeks, and for two weeks, the users workload is 80 hrs.
If there are no plans yet, Tempo Planning shows 80hrs availability, which is correct.
If I add a plan in a day for 4 hrs of work, Tempo Planning shows 76 hrs availability. This is also correct.
Now i add a plan fpr 10hrs of work. Tempo Planning shows 68 hrs of availability, which is now incorrect. There should be 66 hrs remaining availability.
We are aware that on that specific day, the user has 2 hrs overtime in his plan. For us, more important than the daily plan is the bi-weekly status and the status fpr the next 3 months. It easily happens that different project leads plan work for a specific user and overbook the user on a specific day. However, we want to encourage people to use tha column availability to keep in mind the overall availabillity of that user. The user can decide himself how to shift the work between the days, so it doesnt really matter if he does the work on 1 day in 10 hrs or if he splits the work in 5 days , 2 hrs each. For the project leads, it is significantly easier to create plans bi-weekly in bigger plans, so we would really like to see the true remaining availability.
Can anyone help us find the correct configuration to let Tempo Planning calculate the remaining availability, ignoring any overtime planned?
Thank you in advance.
