Teams field is showing "no options" but all the teams have previously worked

Hi All

We use Teams within JIRA and we select a team for each ticket which is how the scrum boards are setup. From this morning when I click on the Team field in the ticket, it shows no options. I've tried typing the team name, the team ID but it still says no options. when I create a ticket I can select a team but when I try to edit a ticket, it just shows "no options".
