Using the structure, I am trying to create reports to show the status of work across a BU, Department or Group with issue types assigned to a team.
This can can be done using Advanced Roadmaps (available in Jira Premium), you can define custom hierarchy levels, assign issues to teams, and create reports that roll up work across each level, making it ideal for tracking and reporting within a complex struct
If Advanced Roadmaps isn’t available , you could use labels or components to categorize issues by department, group, or team. Filters and dashboards can then be used to generate basic reports.
