Is there a way to use a column in the Pivot table but hide just that column from the results of the table transformer macro?
Here are additional details:
I am joining Jira results with a calculated status based on demand versus capacity for a given team.
I would like to use that Status in a Pivot table that displays the estimated totals along with the Status. I do not want to display the Status column in the 'detail', I just want it to appear in the Pivot results.
Appreciate any guidance on this. Thank you!
Please disregard question as I figured out how to use the hide column option in table filter. Once again your product is outstanding!!
Hi @Maria Del Rosario Gonzalez ,
Glad it works and thank you for the positive feedback! I'll show it to the team.
We know that you are a power user and don't need our support in many difficult use cases but just a note for other users who may come across this question: all our macros are compatible and you can create different sequences depending on the final goal. For example, you may wrap your table in the Table Filter macro, then in the Pivot Table macro and then in the Table Transformer macro. On Data Center in may be done directly, on Cloud - via the Table Toolbox macro due to the new Cloud editor limitations.
So, to hide table columns on any stage of your transformations, you may use two options:
