Statistics on delivery time

Theo Cuny May 7, 2019

Hello,

I'm using Jira to outsource tickets to external partners.

I'm trying to pull statistics from Jira, in a specific project, to see if we completed the requests on time.
So I'd like to compare the date of creation of an Epic versus the date of Delivery for a specific month.

The final goal is to be able to include a graph in my monthly reports and share data like "We delivered X% of Localization requests on time for the month of April", for example.

Is that something I can do in Jira?

Hi @Theo Cuny you can do that with Screenful Dashboard,  a 3rd party Jira plugin. I've written a blog post that explains how to track on time delivery of Jira tickets:

Hello Sami,

I checked your blog and first of all I'd like to say good job, it's a nice one.

Just to make sure I understand correctly, those filters help you check the current status, correct?

So if I use this filter at 4pm, I would get the status of the tickets at 4pm.

In my scenario, I was trying to check the tickets that have been delivered on time or late over the period of last month for example.

Would your solution work that case as well?

Could I start a search on all tickets we dealt with in July (for example), and see how many of them have been delivered after their due date (in the past then)?

@Theo Cuny yes, absolutely you can. It all works out-of-the-box. The only thing you need to do is to configure the right side columns in the Task Status view. By default all your issues will be included from the Jira boards that you've selected as the data sources, also those that has been closed in the past. You can use the date range filter to narrow it down.
