Hi everyone!
I have some serious questions here.
I am trying to add another workflow for the Bug issue only.
But I got some problems:
When I was editing the copy of the main workflow the specific status (for the bugs issues) renewed the status for all issue types.
And I don't get why it is so.
Luckily it is my test project and nothing critical happened.
Kindly have a look on the screen:
Here is my general workflow, for all types of the issues
The next screen is what I am trying to do for the Bugs issue types.
Here is not active draft for my future Bug workflow:
I've deleted some statuses and renamed some for the Bug specifically.
Here is the problem:
But all these new statuses reflect on my "general" flow. (on the screen "general" flow = "renew" title).
-------------------
Why do I choose the workflow way but not the scheme option? I don't know ^_^
Here is the video, and the way to create the flow depending on the issue type is represented by working via workflow managing.

Hello @Max
I'm not sure if I fully understand your questions, but I will try to address what I think you have asked.
Status values are defined at a global level (for Company Managed project, and used in Workflows that are defined at a global level). You can see the list here:
https://yourURL/secure/admin/ViewStatuses.jspa
If on that page you renamed a Status, it would affect all workflows where that status was used.
The same is true if you rename a Status while editing a workflow. That changes the name globally. You cannot rename a status and have that affect only one workflow.
If you want different Statuses in a workflow you can add a brand new status to the workflow:
This dialog allows you to select from the full list of existing statuses, or to create a brand new status.
Does that address your question?
@Trudy Claspill I believe it was not easy to read all the text and screens but thank you for your time.
I can't open the link you've sent below: https://yourURL/secure/admin/ViewStatuses.jspa
Could you check it? Do I need to get some access to the link?

I'll try to create the new BUG workflow by adding brand-new statuses for this type of issue.
I hope it works.
I hope I get you right.
Thanks again for the reply ^_^

In that link you need to replace yourURL with the URL for your Jira instance.

@Trudy Claspill Finally! I made it! Thank you!
Could you help with one question?
Previously I copied the Workflow and I see the copied Workflow like this:
(The screen was taken here. It's my previous question.)
Here is the screen after I've added my new workflow for the bugs.
I don't get why the new Bug's workflow was added above and separately, but not like on the screen from my previous question.
What should I do to locate the workflow as I mentioned on the last screen?

Hello @Max
You don't need to do anything.
You are misunderstanding what the information on the screens represents.
Both images are taken from the same page - the Workflows page.
Your first screen is showing that the highlighted workflow named "Software simplified workflow for project Q0001" is used in three workflow schemes named
Your second screen is showing that the workflow named "BUG FLOW..." is used in one workflow scheme named "Q0001:...", and another separate workflow named "Renew #2..." is also used in the same workflow scheme.
The list is organized per workflow. Each workflow is listed once in the first column. In the third column is listed all the workflow schemes that include the workflow named in the first column. Workflow scheme names may appear multiple times in the third column because the workflow scheme may include multiple workflows.
If you want to see the information grouped by the Workflow Scheme, showing all the workflows used in each workflow scheme, then you need to view the Workflow Schemes page:

@Trudy Claspill Thank you!
It was exactly what I wanted to see, to understand that I was creating the Bug workflow in the right way. Thanks!
___________
But I still do not get why the same page has shown me the schemes below the 1 common workflow previously (screen above "1212.png"), and now I see it like on the screen "12131313.png", sorry but I just don't get it. It is really the same page but a different view. Because of this different viewing, I was thinking about my mistake.
But it is not so important. Never mind, I've spent a lot of your time.
But it was really interesting, for me at least ^_^

Hi @Max
When you update the name of a status in the workflow, this change will be reflected across all workflows utilizing that status, as it is a global modification, instead, you need to create a new status.
To ensure that this workflow is available exclusively for a specific issue type, you will need to modify the workflow scheme and assign the new workflow to the relevant issue type.
Please read docs:
Best regards
Sam

@Samuel Gatica (ServiceRocket) thank you for the links, I'll reread the info, I think I missed something.
