I am trying to create an additional scrum board:  I need it to display a story with the linked tasks to it.

Can anyone help me with the steps as I am getting the stories and he tasks but not for the tasks to appear under the story it is linked to.

Issues appear "under" another issue in the board view only if there is a parent-child relationship between the issues, like a Story and a Subtask.

Issues that are connected using the generic linking functionality do not have the parent-child relationship.

Can you perhaps show us a screen image of what you see for a specific set of linked issues, and show us the link information for those issues?

It is a story issue with Tasks linked by way of normal Jira linking issues.  We have a Story (User Story that has a functional requirement defined in it)  with several tasks (Development Tasks)   associated to it .  The need is to show on the board all stories with the tasks associated to it (them.

Would like to create a board that displays the story (like an epic) with all tasks linked to it appearing in that story section:

I don't think it will be possible to do this with the JIRA product on its own. Maybe an extra Marketplace app could help, but I have no idea which one.

You might be able to construct a filter that would retrieve Stories 1..n and also retrieve all the issues linked to those stories and display them all in one board, but JIRA is not going to display then like it would display Epics and the child Issues of an Epic.

One challenge in trying to do that is that a linked issue could be linked to more than one Story. An issue will display on a board only once, so how would JIRA know under which Story to display that linked issue? With parent-child relationships, a child issue can have only one parent issue, so there is no confusion about how to display it.
