Removing redundant filters

Hi,

I am trying to tidy up our JIRA environment and have found many filters which have been created by a 'Former User'.

I want to delete these, but do not get the option to delete in the '...' drop-down box.

I have administrator access.

Is there a way around this?

Hi @Maria Weglowski 

You need to first change the filter ownership to yourself first for those filters.

If there are many filters then you can try using ScriptRunner for Jira, it has a built-in script to do just that.
