Help in creating a report in Adaptavist Test Management

Ray Marshall April 3, 2018

Hi everyone,

I am trying to come up with a report in Adaptavist Test Management/JIRA that lists the run status of each story including pass, fail, blocked, defect numbers, but also a list of defects in the same report, showing the summary, status, priority, issues linked to said tests, by folder? I can run a test execution by folder which gives all the test execution results, effort and issues, but does not list all the defects, only gives a number of open, closed and total.

Ideally I would like to create a report that that takes the elements from the Test execution scorecard by folder, and mixes in in issues reported during test report to give a broader picture of the work completed

Any ideas? Can I create a comprehensive report using either Jira/Adaptavists built in reporting, or from a  different tool or system to put it all together?

Adaptavist what?  We've got a number of add-ons for much of the Atlassian stack.

I'm guessing it's probably Test Management for Jira, but I don't want to jump that way without knowing it's right.

Hi Nic,

Apologies for the miscommunication, I only thought there was 1 Adaptavist (that will teach me to assume). You are right in that it is Adaptavist Test Management. Its almost as if I need to take the elements I need in ATM (say the test status report) and combine it with a query in Jira, to link the test run status to the defects, that sort of thing?
