Hello,

While I was updating the description in a Jira issue, another user made changes just before my update, resulting in their changes being overwritten by mine. I would like to request that their previous changes be restored in the description field. Could you please help recover the overwritten content?

I would like to request that the description be reverted to the version just before the most recent update made by hhcho.

here is the URL : https://ranix.atlassian.net/browse/V2XCP-218

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,

hhcho

Hi @조호현 ,

Welcome to the community,

Jira doesn’t automatically revert to a previous version, but it does store every change in the issue history. You can view and manually copy the previous content from the history tab, then paste it back into the description field.

Open the issue (V2XCP-218), scroll to the “History” tab in the Activity section to see recent changes. Look for the description just before your update. Copy that content. Edit the description field and paste in the previous content to revert it.

Hope it will helps!

If you don’t see the history option in Jira, it could be due to permissions, or it may be hidden in your specific Jira setup.

You can Ask a Jira Admin, They can often view the change history and might help retrieve the previous content.
