Hi,

I am wondering how 'deep' access I will get when I buy these apps hosted in cloud?

1. Is it possible to SSH to the box where JIRA/Confluence/Bitbucket is installed to make any files changes? Or my access will be reduced to "software level" only?

2. Currently I have them installed on my own and I am a bit worried how to migrate everything to the cloud.

3. Is it possible to "hide" access behind VPN?

Hi @Adrian Kremblewski

  1. No it is not possible. It is hosted managed and maintained by Atlassian.
  2. When it comes to migrating from your server to cloud, you can follow this guide: https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/migrate-from-server-to-cloud-972330172.html
  3. This I am unsure of. The user still needs to login to the application hence while computer access location may be wrong the credential of who accessed it will still be shown. I’ll suggest reaching out to Atlassian support or a product manager for this last question as they will be able to clarify best.

Cheers
