I am trying to sync Planned Version from Jira to Zendesk using default integration. Unfortunately Planned Version does show as available to sync. I have tried to create a hid text field and copy Planned Version to it, and sync the text field, but again using automation rules, Planned Version is not available to copy from.
Any suggestion on how I could sync Planned version to Zendesk?
Thanks
Hi @kevin.brant ,
Thanks for posting your question here.
I am Dhiren, one of the Solutions Engineers working at Exalate.
I would recommend you to also try out our completely decentralized and bi-directional integration solution Exalate.
With the Groovy based scripting engine, you can sync your own information between the 2 systems and it's very customizable. (including system and custom fields)
We do offer a 30 day free trial incase you want to evaluate the solution!
Thanks, Dhiren
Hi @kevin.brant ,
As per https://support.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408825394458-Using-the-Jira-field-syncing-feature, Fix Version field is available to sync with Zendesk, although you can only sync that field's value into a Text or Multi-Line Text field in Zendesk.
If you've already tried this and it hasn't worked, you can choose to use the Zendesk APIs and create an Jira automation that will update the linked Zendesk ticket's Form field with the associated Jira ticket's "Planned Version". Do let us know how it goes :-)
