Payload Too Large error in adding JIRA comment via jira-ruby package

I am getting payload too large error even when comment size is just 100

Check whether you are using any custom field which is having any limitation. 

Check whether any limit is specified from below settings 

 jira.text.field.character.limit 

also check the logs for more information and if possible post here for further checking.
