Need help with Jira Automation Rule -> Transfer User

Tobias Guss January 4, 2023

Hi I have seen this Tutorial in How To Transfer Users in a Jira Automation Rules. Reason is we have a few Users and who left the company and in the Rules they defined them self as Actor and Owner. Now the AD User has to stay active because if we kill them the hole automation will fail.

I tried following the Tutorial but when it should show the preview changes nothing happens.

I have waited now over 15 Minutens and it won't progess.

See Screenshot -> 2023-01-04 08_58_34-Window.png

Jira Server Version: v9.3.1#930001

Any Ideas? I don't want to do this manual because its painfull we have a lot of rules I would have to check.

Can you inspect the page, go to Network, try to change the owner, click on the line that return 500 and what is the response returned ?
