I am migrating data from MS Planner to Jira.   Exported data in a CSV file from MS Planner and now in process of importing into Jira.  While mapping there are few fields in the CSV file that i need to map to Jira field.  Need help in matching Bucket Name, Checklist Items , Completed Checklist items, Labels, Late.

Can anyone help me out to map the fields.

It sounds like these are select type fields (dropdown where you can select only one value, dropdown where you can select multiple values, etc.) Assuming so, you need to tick the "Map field value" box in the "Fields" portion of the importer setup. Any field  that you need to map to existing field values in Jira must have this box ticket.  The list includes custom fields, user pickers (Assignee, Reporter, etc,) workflow statuses, resolutions, etc. The fields that have the boxes ticked will appear on the "Values" page of the importer setup, and you will map the values in the CSV to the values in Jira.

What happens with the values that are are mapped don't match available options in Jira? For example an Assignee is set that has not be created in Jira, or a Status is used that Jira does not support.

Do we edit the values before the import so they match available options in Jira?
