Hi group,

i Have a manually triggered rule thats creating a Story issue with serval  subtaks.

I wan to send a email to the person that triggers the rule.

Does anyone know the smart values for this ?

I know the smart value for the asignee emaladres {{issue.parent.assignee.emailAddres}} but not the one that triggers the manually triggered rule!

And is it posible to get a pupup message with e create issue ID, if Jira creats a automated issue its not showing the task id in the left down corner like ussual?

Hi @Erik Kregting , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your question.

The person who triggers the rule in Automation is referred to as the Initiator

You should be able to email them like this

I am not sure about the second part of your post. You are saying you want to validate the keys of the issues you just created?

Looking forward to your feedback.

Cheers

Adding to @Valerie Knapp , It's not feasible to give issue created pop-up via project automation. Automation only show Automation in Progress, won't show issue key of the issue created via Automation like when issue created manually.
