Hi there
My question is simple, but maybe i didn t find a complete answer with pros / cons /limitations / differences between jira studio and have all it's components installed in stand alone mode besides the integration (being able to have all of them in one place) and of course that there's no infrastructure required for Jira studio, and some administration tasks are delegated to atlassian (don t know specifically what tasks are those in particular). Didnt found a "table" or comparison in this subjects.
Can you tell me more about it? from differences to maybe limitations that can arise in one but not in the other (eg. some plugins limited to instal in one or the other)
Im sure that maybe you have some ilustrative documentation covering these aspects, could you please pass me a link or send me an email? The need of this is because we have to be able to answer the client cuestions with specific information and of course give him the best suitable solution.
Thanks a lot in advance
Fernando
Azwandi, thank you for your answer.
We already have purchased a Jira Studio licence for a client. I wiil take a look at the links you are suggesting, but, it doesn t really answer my question, there's by any chance a document that compares Jira and the other applications (stand alone, all together) and jira studio.
I asume that it has to be some differences between this two solutions (hosted/ no hosted) , and we have to be able of clearly say to a client what can do with one or the other, and the differences or convenience between them. Maybe a comparative table or something like that, that probably at a comercial level Atlassian im sure has documents comparing them as a selling point of this products.
Thank you in advance ,
Fernando
For a start, I would recommend you to take a look at the restricted functions in JIRA Studio. Plugins installation is restricted in this platform, whereby all plugins will have to go through selection and bundling process.
In case you have not already done so, you might want to sign up for a free trial instance of JIRA Studio to see it for yourself
