Dear all,
We have Jira Data Center which is host under Windows Server 2022 and install as a servcie.
Time to time during a Machine planned restart or during an upgrade, we have Jira service which stop alone without any reason durimg the boot process. We need to restart it manually sometime more than one time.
In addition to that every sunday morning we have a plan reboot policy of the host machine where we notice the same behaviour "The Jira service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 4 time(s)." from the windows event viewer.
And after different successive manual restart of the service, it gets boot normally.
Does any one of you meet such behavior as well and possible source of that ?
Actually we notice the SentinelOne is install on the host and scan the Jira and Confluence install directory. Could it be a potential source of such service stop ?
We do not have a clear track of the source of the issue and we doe not have any error in log files
Thanks
Regards
It is a strange issue you are facing for your JIRA.
Basically SentinelOne protects from vulnerabilities and ransomware and quarantine the files or detected threat.
If possible check the SentinelOne whether the JIRA Service files are getting quarantine.
Sometimes SentinelOne degrades performance of server and slows down the application access.
Also check whether your JIRA version is having any SentinelOne Vulnerabitlities from below url
https://www.sentinelone.com/blog/cve-2023-22501/
If possible disable the SentinelOne and check, even the jira service is getting down.
