In the free version of Time in Status what does 1day 15hours actually mean for average cycle time when I have the calendar set to weekdays 9am - 6pm and a Format of 'Pretty'? Ultimately I want to know how many working hours are spent on a ticket over elapsed time - is that possible either in the free or the paid version?
Hi @Dionne Hairsine,
I guess, you are referring to our Status Time Reports Free - Time in Status app. Regardless of the calendar selected, while displaying the duration, our app takes 1 day as 24 hours. Therefore, "1day 15 hours" is "39 hours" and this duration is the time passed in the working hours. That is, it does not include nights and weekends.
Hope it is clear. If you need further support please reach us via support@bloompeak.io
Unfortunately there seem to be many Jira App with "Time in Status" in their name. So no one here is likely to be able to help you with your question as stated.
I recommend you validate which exact Jira App you are using. You may need to check with a Jira Administrator for your instance to determine the exact App name.
Then go to the Atlassian Marketplace, look up that specific App, and click on the "Support" tab. From there you can either explore the documentation for that App using the "how this app works" link, or contact support for that App if the documentation doesn't contain the answer you want. I suspect your answer will be in their documentation.

Hi @Dionne Hairsine ,
May I know what is your understanding/expectation of:
From what to what moment in time?
Regards,
Petru

Cycle time from the moment an issue's status is set to In Progress to when it is Done i.e. deployed. Average cycle time meaning an average over a period of time e.g. 6 months

I still don't understand what 1 day 15 hours means in the context of filtering on work days 9-6 as per the default in the Time in Status free app
