Jira Control Chart

Nuria Llobera Vila January 12, 2018

Hi,

I wonder why the Control Chart in Jira shows the average days as

1 day = 24h

I there is the option to differenciate working days and non-working days it should also make the difference in the average. I mean, in "Include non-working days" as you mention "Issues are artificially taking longer to resolve as the control chart is calculating time when the team is not actively working", and somehow make sense to count 1 day = 24h. But for the calculation of working days would make more sense to use 1 day = 8h.

I did not find a way to edit it. Is there any option?

Thank you

Nuria

Hi Nuria,

Per the Viewing the Control Chart knowledge base article:

  • 1w — This is always equal to 7 days, regardless of what is configured for standard working days and non-working days.
  • 1d — This is always equal to 24 hours.

I have not found a way to change this and did not see any Suggestions to change it on JAC in my search.  You can definitely create a Suggestion and add your use case to the description.  If you do please link the Suggestion here so the Community can vote on it and add impact.

Cheers,

Branden
