Another "improvement" in Jira 4.4, I guess. I'd like to see the Status of an Issue without having to go to Jira. I mean, I'm already looking at the email, right?
Do I have to edit the email templates (is this even possible in Jira 4.4?) to see the Status in email notifications?
See above.
Hi Raye,
I just saw your update. I ended up manually modifying the templates to add the fields I needed in the HTML notifications.

Answered myself.

Hi Rayer,
I just upgraded to 4.4 and found this same issue. While the new look is better, it is odd that the text version now displays more information than the HTML. Status, assignee etc are only in the text version.

Aha. I see the Status is displayed but only when the Status changes.
I see the Status field in summary-topleft.vm but it doesn't get displayed in email. Is there a way to force the status to be shown in all notification emails? A conditional maybe?
Thanks in advance.
