Is there an option in JIRA to show the historical versions of a JIRA Project Roadmap?

The Roadmap history would ideally show you the changes made to the roadmap and when they were made - allowing you to track changes in release dates, planned issues etc.

Maybe this is a feature of Greenhopper?

As far as I am aware there is no means of doing this.

The closet is the distinction between the Roadmap and the Change log - Roadmap for upcoming(unreleased) Versions and the Change Log for released ones.

At present the Roadmap and Versions are actually very lightweight, with very little meta-data associated with them. To track changes to them and note which issues were asociated with them at any time would be quite heavy weight task.

It would be very nice to have a gadget that allows you to view historical versions due x days back - similar to versions due y days in the future so that you can show the history with the projections.
