JIRA Upgrade Bug

Hi,

We have had our JIRA upgraded to 5.2.4, and since then text within the project changes in symbols or question marks.

For Example:

member�€�s records

I am not sure if this is due to the upgrade or if there is a setting that can be enabled. Its curently causing issues with our clients as they cannot read our comments and vice versa.

Hi Ree,

From the looks of it the problem is with the encoding of the new instance so I'd recommedn that you work through the various knowledge base articles linked to from this document: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Internationalisation+and+Encoding+Troubleshooting

If this doesn't help then you will need to open a ticket with Support so that we can investigate this issue further for you.
