JIRA 4.4.3 takes time to "wake-up" if user is inactive for a while

Having quick respose times otherwise only if user is inactive and then opens a link it takes some time to open.

Is this a Token handling issue? Browser is IE9.

I've not heard of this. You can know more from profiling:

That should tell you a bit more about where the specific hang is. Post back here if you can drill down more specifically.
