I’m having trouble with the JIRA plans. Even though I've been granted access to edit the team plan, I can't see it like the rest of the team can, seems to be issue with my account. Any help on this is appreciated

Are you not seeing any Change Plan option in your billing? Are you talking about Pricing Plans or Roadmaps? Can you please clarify this? What are you exactly able to see?
If it is the roadmaps, it should be enabled in features in Project Settings. Or you can check board settings and see whether this is enabled for you or not.

Plans are only included with Jira Premium and Enterprise. Do you have these subscriptions?
