Hi,
I am looking for a way to semi-automate/trigger an email to send to all customers in a specific project if an announcement is made on the customer portal.
We add an announcement on the portal when new release is coming or a global issue in the system, etc. However, not all customers check the portal regularly, so we want to be able to effectively notify all customers via email.
Is there a way to do that?
We don't use the Release Management functionality in JIRA as we uses Azure DevOps to track all development work/releases; so we can't trigger based on when a Version is released/updated.
I also can't seem to find a way to include all customers that have acess to a specific project to the "To" field of the Send email action.
Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated!
One more side question -- is there a history log of all annoucement posted on the customer portal? As part of SOC2 policies, we may be asked to provide proof of communication to users of changes related to our software.
As far as I am aware there isn't a trigger based on announcement banner updated. You can use the send email functionality to send an email to all users in the project role Service Desk Customers.
