Is it possible to add an excerpt from a Confluence page into a Jira Issue description or Acceptance criteria so that the excerpt displays as content? For example, I have a Confluence page with multiple validation rules. I want to be able to display one of the validation rules on the page as content in the Jira issue, so that Confluence can be the source of truth. I'm trying to avoid copying the rule into the Jira issue and having to maintain the rule in two locations. I don't want to link the entire page. I have been using Copy Link to Highlight in Confluence and pasting that link into the Jira issue, but when a user clicks that link they have to scroll the page to see what is highlighted. Looking for a solution where a specific portion of page content can be displayed in a Jira issue without copying and pasting it into the issue.

Hi @G Geer Welcome to the community!

I don't think natively it's feasible and not sure about the plugins, you can check the marketplace.
