Is Dark Mode in Jira broken for new tabs

Is anyone having trouble with Dark Mode (Theme) in Jira?
Yesterday Dark Mode in Jira Cloud was working fine.
This morning it seems it's broken, kind of.
If a ticket is open in a new tab it opens in NOT dark mode
Dark Mode works fin if working in a single tab.
The following behaviour is occurring in both Chrome and Edge so it seems it's an Jira issue
- Open a new window and go to Project, all queues appear in Dark Mode, this is good.
- Middle click or right click and select 'Open in new tab' to open a ticket in a new tab and the ticket is opened in a new tab but NOT in Dark Mode.
- Go to Personal Setting and no theme is selected
- Select Dark Mode and the tab reverts to Dark Mode
- Back button returns to the ticket now in Dark Mode
- Refresh page and now the ticket is NOT in Dark Mode.
