Hi community,
I've received the following request from an internal team - their project recently started using the Team field and they would like if possible to integrate all of the teams already present in Slack, e.g. @psflutter, @PSO-de etc.
Is it possible for such an integration/data migration to be made? If yes, what are the prerequisites/steps that need to be taken? Should a Slack workspace admin be involved etc.
Many thanks!
The teams option relates to Teams in Jira.
Only Jira users can be added to these teams, these have no relation to Slack or MS Teams.
This Team option can be used with the Jira options Incident Management, Plans (premium required), Compass
See documentation on Team, what-is-an-atlassian-team
Thanks for the reply! So is it the case where only people who have an Atlassian account configured can be added to teams? If yes, I think the prerequisite should be met from our side as anyone who has a Slack, also has an account with Atlassian.
Is there a way to feed in all of that data or is it going to be too out of the box?
Many thanks

Yes, only user with an Atlassian Account on your instance can be added to Teams on your instance.
Teams in Atlassian has no relation with Slack integration in Jira
Which data would you want to feed in to where?
To use people in Teams, you will need all your users to have an Atlassian Account, you could use API
