I would like to customize the workflow of a new project of type "Team-managed software". A part introducing custom statuses and transitions, can i customize the substatuses ?

For example, I would like to have Closed: Rejected, Closed: Duplicate and Closed: Won't Fix.

Thanks for your help and patience!

Few options for you to accomplish this with the team managed privileges:

  • You could add a custom field such as sub-status and customize it's options.
  • You could use the resolution to set your rejected, closed, duplicate, won't fix using a workflow transition.
  • You could just have more statuses - assuming a reasonable workflow there is really no issue in having more end stages.

Thank you bduncan!

You make me realise that option number 2 - Resolution - is the standard way to go :)
