Hi! I'm trying out JIRA and what I want to do is to allow clients to access the page with their project and post bugs, request.... if i leave whole jira public then clint see my other projects which is not good. So question is if theer is a way to say give client and option to login and see only projects that are associated with their user name?
tnx!
Yes, you will need to assign users to groups (or project roles) and create permission schemes to ensure only particular users/groups can access the project.
ok tnx! will experiment with that... Only thing that worries me is that i will need extreme amout of users which is proportianally means that i need very expansive license (even though we are a sall company :(
PS: I think this forum software is broken (totally). Link i got in my email points to
http://questions/6783/jira-how-to-allow-cleint-to-post-bugs-but-only-to-reir-account
Highly unlikely i can open it :) and then I can not login to forum no matter what I do :) good thing my other como remembered session :)

Alex, the forum software isn't broken, I have cleaned up and edit the title of your question so it is appropriate and makes sense.
You should always read your post and check your spelling before posting so as to prevent unneccessary errors in your posts. At least gross spelling errors, I know I make a lot as well :)

You might also want to read through http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Current+Reporter+Browse+Project+Permission - this covers making a reporter able to see their own issues without exposing other issues in the project to them.
