Hi all!
I have had some business resistance to using Jira to manage tasks involving confidential data. The argument is that even though security and permission schemes can be set, a Jira admin still has access to all projects. Even if they were to set up security in a way that it excludes admins, they could always go back and allow themselves or others to access the project.
If there a way to audit edits or changes to security schemes, like there is for permission schemes in system audit?
Hi @Diogo Teles,
While I am not entirely sure what you mean by a security scheme, you can find an overview of all activities that are being recorded in the audit log in this support article.
Hope this helps!
Hi Walter,
Thank you for the reply. I had seen that documentation, and according to that and my tests, edits to a Security scheme (Issue security scheme) do not appear on Jira's audit log. However, I was wondering if there is some other way to monitor this or if it really is not possible.
What I mean by security scheme is this option when you go from Settings > Issues
