I can't find the "Linked Objectives" option under "+Add" in the Epic section in Jira.

Hello

I can't find the "Linked Objectives" option under "+Add" in the Epic section in Jira.

However, I do see the "Add Jira issue" option enabled through Atlassian.

Are these two options intended to serve the same purpose?

What configuration steps are necessary to display "Linked Objectives" in Jira?

From my experience and using a few different one Atlassian sites add Jira issue links Jira data to the Atlas or platform experience project. 

linked issue is only used to link Jira work items to other work items. 

in my Atlassian one site the goal connection is only used the right hand side below the more fields option. 

when you add the project form atlas there then you can update the goals. 

I will see if I can add screenshot tomorrow to help explain. Or maybe a loom video.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

The documentation about adding a Goal to an issue doesn't appear to have been updated to address the recent change to collapse the action buttons under the +Add button in the issues.

I recommend that you or your Jira Admins open a support case directly with Atlassian to find out how that activity can now be accomplished. And it would be wonderful if you report back here what you learn from Atlassian.
