How to create a mapping on an external import, jira assets

We are using JIRA assets to manage our inventory, and recently got an external app to sync it with Intune (as jira cloud assets doesn't have that available). The issues is that it is an external import, and it doesn't show the option to "create mapping", and we want to segment the imported objects into different categories, which can be easily done with a new mapping. Is there any way to do so? or do you guys have any suggestions for a workaround?

We want to avoid importing a periodical CSV, even though this can be automated but is better if we can keep using the app that we currently have.
