When I follow the steps to configure release notes, I do not see a save button to finalize the release notes and save them. I am looking for a reason as to why I do not see a save button for when I am creating/updating/configuring release notes for a specific release.
Hello @Krish Kapani and welcome to the Community! Are you using a Release Management add-on or the native Release Notes in your Data Center instance? The native option in DC does not include a Save option for the configuration -- it's just a selection for Text or HTML style.
Hi @Laurie Sciutti , I am using the native Release Notes. If that is the case, how do I add release notes to a release? Do I use the 'Description' when creating the release version?

Hello @Krish Kapani ~ not sure I completely understand your question, but to generate actual Release Notes documentation, after you select the format you can add any additional information manually, copy the information from the text box as shown below and then paste it wherever. If you use Confluence, you can add the info to a Release Notes page. In the example below, I generated RN in HTML format and then pasted it into a markup macro and it formats it nicely.

Hi @Laurie Sciutti , so if I wanted to edit the portion where you have written 'Release Notes = Sandbox = Version Release 1.1' , how would I go about that?
A secondary question would be, if I am not using Confluence or any other specific document to write up release notes , how would I add Release Notes to the Release because when I go to the screen you have in your screenshots and I edit the text, I don't see a way to save my updates and actually update the Release Notes.

Hi @Krish Kapani ~ read the yellow highlighted text in the first screenshot -- you can edit it however you want. The information is automatically generated by the Fix Version you select but can be updated in the text box however you like. Then, you manually copy everything in that text box and paste it to whatever document you have for publishing your Release Notes.
