×Hello team, hope you're doing well today!
The other day I faced a problem in one instance of Confluence spaces.
I looked into the issue and found the problem. There was a rule that automatically added any Guest user to an specific space by default. I have removed this rule, and everything is now working correctly, so this won't happen again (hopefully).
But also, I want to check if there is a created rule as well for Jira projects (Both in Team-Managed projects and in Company-Managed projects)
Where can I check this kind of information? Where do I have to dive in?
Thanks in advance!
Ariel.
Hi @Ariel Ramos
For Jira, for both company and team managed projects, you might need to look in Project settings > Automation (for this you at least need to be project administrator).
Also, check for your global automation rules by clicking on Settings (cog wheel) > System > Global automation - for this you need to be a Jira administrator.
Hello Nikola, hope you're doing well!
I did that and checked all the things (Automation and Global Permissions) and it seems to be all good!
Thanks in advance for your help!
Ariel.

Good morning Ariel,
To confirm the issue, are users explicitly being added at the individual level (Existing under the "People" section), or are using gaining access to the content without having to be added?

Hey Stanley, hope you're doing well today!
The issues that I faced was that there was a rule under one of the workspaces or instances that we have here in my company, that automatically added any Guest user to a specific space by default when I assigned a Confluence or Confluence Guest license. I have removed this rule, and everything is now working correctly.
