I am using different tools to manage my SEO, further am exploring new tools to do my work in good way. I have heard about JIRA that it would be helpful for tracking tasks and managing projects but still i am confused that how it will be effective for SEO.

What you want to include in the SEO? Mostly Jira is being used for issue tracking. If you indeed have the issues that are tied with SEO there are different ways:
Software projects - focused on the Agile methodologies (Scrum,Kanban)
Business projects - do not use agile methodologies, ideal for projects that are not in software development
Service managemet - suitable mostly for IT teams where you have agents who resolve the requests and the customers who are reporting the issues for the agents to resolve
