How do I create a dependency between a milestone and an issue so that the milestone has the priority

I have a series of issues in my structure gantt chart linked together by dependencies so that the next one starts only after the previous one finishes. The last issue on the "chain" is linked to a task turned to a milestone with the same dependency. However, when there is a conflict issue, I do not want the milestone to move/change its date, but the issues to adjust. Simply said, I want the milestone to have maximum priority during the scheduling conflict, and the issues to change their start and end date. How do I achieve this?

I also tried it with FixVersions. However, no solution was found.

Thanks!

Hello @Salkan Avdic

The described is not possible - there is no 'backward' scheduling logic in the Gantt Charts app. If there is a scheduling conflict, it is always resolved by rescheduling tasks forward.
However, we do have a feature request in our backlog to make something you described possible. I will add your vote to the feature.
