Having trouble renewing the go daddy ssl cert in Jira. Attempted to follow the knowledge base article with no success.

Just to understand it better: it the renewing process troubling with the provider as such (for example - got you on hold of the new certificate and if so - is it valid and ok?) or do you have issues inserting it into Jira?

You mentioned an article - could you please state which one?
There is a basic article but the specific steps on renewing the certs will differ if you terminate SSL connections directly in Tomcat vs. using a reverse proxy.
