Hi @Rinat Gonen , so if you want to learn more about Atlassian products to see if they are right for your requirements here are my suggestions:

  • research on your own - go to www.atlassian.com and read their overviews, stand up free instances and try the products, review the product documentation
  • contact an Atlassian partner -https://www.atlassian.com/partners they can meet with you to understand your requirements
  •  Ask specific questions here in the Community

now, if you want to compare Atlassian products to other possible, non-Atlassian solutions, then I would suggest searching for software application consultants that represent and have experience with different applications.

Thank you for your answer.

i am looking for someone that i can give him/ her the requirements and he / her will be able to consult what is the best option. maybe have a new tool, maybe just a solution that can combine between MS project and Jira ( as those are the tools that my company using now ) for resource management and portfolio management ( like big picture ) .

those are the detailed requirements :

  • Project Overview & Dashboards:
  • One-click overview of all projects with customizable department filters
  • Task tracking by person, and project dashboards.
  • Includes Gantt charts, KPI tracking, and a roadmap for project planning.
  • Resource & Task Management:
  • Clear visibility of individual workloads across active projects
  • Linked to sprints
  • Task assignment notifications and the ability to filter by person, task, or due date.
  • Includes project task templates for easy replication in new projects.
  • Project Pages & Templates:
  • Each project has a dedicated page with relevant data (scope, goals, etc.), serving as a template for department-specific workflows and including project management structures and task templates.
  • Methodology Support & Notifications:
  • Support for multiple methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban) with flexible dependencies
  • Critical task alerts, and project timeline notifications.
  • Strict dependencies ensure delayed tasks trigger delays in dependent tasks.
  • Collaboration & Risk Management:
  • Collaboration with external stakeholders
  • Roadblock identification, and risk tracking
  • Ability to aggregate data and drill down for insights.
  • Includes history tracking and task dependencies for agile boards.
  • Agile Management & Continuous Improvement:
  • Manage sprints with burndown and burnup charts
  • Velocity calculations
  • Sprint reports, and retrospectives.
  • Create teams, assign tasks, and track dependencies between stories and tasks, with attachments and notifications for updates.
  • Resource Pool & Integration:
  • Integrate resource data from HR systems like SAP & Sapphire, automatically updating resource pools when employees leave.
  • Integrate with WAVE tool
  • Integrate with Jira and MS project to relocate the projects in the new tool

thank you so much for your help and advise ,

Rinat

I think your best option is to reach out to an Atlassian partner using the link I provided above.

Welcome @Rinat Gonen

I can give you some insights on different Atlassian products:

  • Jira - used for project management and task tracking. This involves software, business and service management project templates. Software is focused on Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. Work management is focused on the teams that do not want to follow the Agile methodology and also to have an easier interface than software projects. Service management projects - mostly suitable for IT Support, Customer Support and more where you have the agents who resolve the requests and customers that are making the requests.
  • Confluence - documentation and collaboration tool. Confluence is being used to create the knowledge bases, documentation for your teams, utilize the usage of whiteboards where you can create project statuses, retrospectives and more. Also, Confluence databases - a table view where your data even from Jira could be stored.
  • Jira Service Management - tool that is being used to handle requests from your teams. With the implmentation of things such as Assets, Virtual Agents, you can create a serious support projects that can help your customers to get the best possible support (this also could be internal and external)
  • Bitbucket - code repository tool. It is being used to store your code, and to allow the developers to work on projects by utilizing the git commands. Also, it supports the DevOps and things such as CI/CD pipelines that you can create in order to automatically test and push your code to the production environment.
  • Jira Product Discovery - tool that is built for product managers. Create ideas, add things such as impact and effort.
  • Trello - simplified Kanban style tracking tool. It is much simpler than Jira itself.

Thank you for your answer - the thing is that Atlassian has also big picture for example and more solutions . my company now using Jira for Scrum and MS project for waterfall. as i understand Jira cannot answer Waterfall methodology as no fixed and strict dependencies in a  project plan . so i am looking if there is any other tool or solution that can combine MS project and Jira - for resource management and portfolio management.

those are the detailed requirements :

  • Project Overview & Dashboards:
  • One-click overview of all projects with customizable department filters
  • Task tracking by person, and project dashboards.
  • Includes Gantt charts, KPI tracking, and a roadmap for project planning.
  • Resource & Task Management:

  • Project Pages & Templates:

  • Methodology Support & Notifications:
  • Support for multiple methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban) with flexible dependencies

  • Collaboration & Risk Management:

thank you so much for your help and advise ,

@Rinat Gonen

In that case, you would need to look at the app named Ceptah Bridge for Jira and MS Project Synchronisation  for syncing MS Project and Jira.
