Dear friends,

i am unable to import using CSV and slecting the option "Project information contained in CSV file"

i am getting this error :

  • Invalid project name Website: A project with that name already exists.
  • Invalid project key null: You must specify a unique project key, at least 2 characters long, containing only uppercase letters.
  • Invalid project key NBID: A project with that project key already exists.
  • Invalid project key MCP: A project with that project key already exists.
  • Invalid project key DSS: A project with that project key already exists.
  • Invalid project name Filemanager: A project with that name already exists.

I already created these products (Website,NBID,MCP,DSS) and now i want to add the old database using CSV

is the option "Project information contained in CSV file" doen t work with existing Products (or existing Project Key)?

thank you for any help or workarround

Hi,

I think you are facing this bug in JIRA Importers plugin. It is a regression which is now fixed in JIM 3.2. Feel free also to use a snapshot version attached to that issue which works with JIRA 4.3.x.

Cheers,

Wojtek

JIM 3.2 works only with JIRA 4.4.x. However we have a snapshot version of 2.7.6 with this bug fixed too - please take a look at https://studio.atlassian.com/secure/attachment/16523/jira-importers-plugin-2.7.6-SNAPSHOT.jar (an attachment to aforementioned issue)
