Hi Dear Colelagues,
We have an issue, when cloning issue to another instance via the Element Copy and Sync plugin.
It shows us "You must specify summary of the issue" error, but we have summary set in Fields Mapping, also in target project's issue type, we don't have any validators or post-functions regarding to summary.
Please advise how can we solve this issue.
Hi @Gor Greyan
I'm from Elements Copy&Sync support team.
We are sorry to see you having issues while triggering a remote Copy&Sync operation.
Can you please confirm, on the remote instance, for the project where the issue will be created, how many fields do you have on the create issue screen?
Do you have many fields (even if on different tabs)? If yes, how many?
Kind Regards,
Nelly

@Gor Greyan are you sure the Summary field is in the creation screen of the target project/issue type ?

Dear @Florian Bonniec
Yes, the field is available on the screen.
Also, there is no any post-functions or validators during the creation in the target issue type.

How do you trigger the creation in another instance ?

Dear Florian,
We have configured it via the Element copy and sync add-on, and the button is available in the ticket. Pressing that button a screen is opened to choose the target project and issue type.

I do not have much clue here. I suggest to raise a request to Elements support.

You could try to use the advanced field mapping and set $issue.summary
