Epics do appear in Epic panel on Kanban board

Owen Guion October 10, 2019

I have looked at related article but cannot find a solution.

I have enabled epics panel, the epics were created in this project, the this team/Kanban board is new.  The EPICs associated with the issues in the backlog do not show up in the Epics panel on the left

Hi @Owen Guion

Are the Epics part of the filter? The board is visualising all the issues in the filter - if the Epics are exempt, they too will not show up. To edit the filter query:

  • Press options (3-dots in upper-right corner) > Board Settings
  • In General, press Edit Filter Query
  • Add in a provision to locate the Epics
  • Press Save

They should then be displayed in the Epics Panel :)

Thanks Stephen!

I did indeed have Epics excluded in the board filter.
