Drag and Drop in Kanban board does not show where it's placing

Currently, when i drag and drop an issue, the whole column changes color to show I can place it thier, but all issues in that column disapear. So when i put it in the column, it goes all the way to the bottom.

Is there a way where I can have it show the issues and i can drag/drop it where I want it to go in the first place? Instead of drag/drop and having to drag/drop it again in the column.

Not really. You have to do it in two steps. First drop the card in the right column. Then drag and drop within that column to rank the issue.
