Yes, Jira can be used for managing information security incidents by customizing workflows, issue types, and automation. You can integrate it with security tools for better tracking and response.

Thank you very much for your reply. I would also like to ask which one is more suitable for security incident tickets, Jira Softwar or Jira Service Management?

@Korn Wang

Your ask is not clear. Can you elaborate on what you are looking for?

Using custom fields can help in tracking security incidents. If you use Common Vulnerability Scoring System then add a custom field for that to gauge the priority/severity of the issue.

  Sorry for the lack of clarity;First of all, thank you very much for your answer, let me make a supplementary note!

  We've collected infosecurity incidents for a lot of assets through Splunk, but we need to add a new Jira to create tickets for infosec incidents; Each custom field can require a lot of work, as it is a custom ticketing system that needs to fit the context, and our security operations team wanted to use Jira to emulate a ticketing system similar to PA XSIA; I tried Jira Software and Jira Service Management, the former tends to be project development management in my understanding, and the latter is more inclined to IT asset service management, but it's not a complete fit; We chose the second one for testing and looked at similar cases, for example, https://www.atlassiancn.com/customer-case-detail-6.html Carrefour's case mentions a security incident report, which I think is more in line with our hypothesis, but we didn't find a similar plug-in APP; As a result, we think this may require multiple plugins to work together in coordination;

 I would also like to sincerely thank you for your suggestions in your reply and we'll try more!Finally, We wish you all the best !
