Hi @Saad Ahmad ,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

Can you please try format 'dd/mmm/yy h:mm AM/PM' under the custom option of Format cell.

Regards

RK

@Vishal Biyani

i couldn't find 'dd/mmm/yy h:mm AM/PM' format in excel under 'Custom' tab of format cell.

I tried another this one: dd/mm/yy h:mm, but jira is giving an error while validating the file.
Kindly support. date population issue-1.png

@Saad Ahmad

To rule out if some automation is overriding the values, can you test by importing the issue and not provide or map "Target Start" and "Target End".

Let's see what happens in this case.

HI

You need to choose the correct date format that matches exactly what you have in your CSV when importing. use  plain text editor to edit the csv. The steps are described in https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/dates-are-not-properly-imported-from-csv-file-245825977.html
